Youth Cafe

The Youth Cafe is a central hub for youth activities operating on a Wednesday from 3.30pm until 5.30pm for young people in years 7 to 11 at Brittons Ash Community Hall (located on the same site as West Monkton Primary School), Bridgwater Road, Bathpool, TA2 8FT.

The Youth Cafe is free and offers drinks, snacks, structured activities and provides a space for informal social interactions.

The Youth Cafe Vision is:

The Youth Cafe provides a safe place for young people to develop their independence, confidence and social skills. We offer new experiences and skill building whilst encouraging positive behaviour and healthy choices.

We aim to support the young person’s wellbeing to enable them to reach their full potential. Activities are directed by young people, empowering them to make decisions, giving them a sense of ownership.

Youth Cafe policies and other useful information is available below.

Young people need to officially register to participate in activities. A registration / consent form is also available below.

If you would like any further information about the Youth Cafe, please contact Kate Welsh, Assistant Clerk Community ([email protected])
